“Our time at A Child's Haven has been a blessing to each of us, enabling us to spend time and share love with these children, and in return, receive the wonderful gifts of smiles, hugs and the feeling of making some small difference in their lives. And we definitely feel that these children and our experience at A Child's Haven is making a difference in our lives as well.”

“I simply treasure the time that I spend doing arts & crafts with the children at A Child's Haven. It is so amazing to witness the significant growth that children experience while in this wonderful program. Knowing that I may have played even the smallest of roles in their flourishing development is truly a fulfilling feeling!”

“I love volunteering with A Child's Haven, because the children give as much to me as I do to them. At the start of each new year I can watch them learn to trust, feel safe and have fun with me as a new adult in their lives. These beautiful children want what every child wants...to be safe, happy and loved. A Child's Haven provides those things and much more.”
We transform children in crisis with the help of our dedicated volunteers. There is magic to be found in the unique balance of our highly trained staff and our volunteers, who bring their energy and love to these children whenever they can.
